  • Position: Portfolio Manager
    Location: Leeds City Centre
    Salary: Competitive package offered (Basic + OTE)

    Dynamic buy-to-let property investment experts Fortem Global are looking to recruit a proven Portfolio Manager to join their winning team in the heart of Leeds City Centre. The successful candidate must possess an excellent knowledge of the property market, and have a proven track record securing new client sales. In return, an excellent working environment and remuneration package is available.

    Job requirements

    • Responsible for responding to incoming enquiries via phone, email and in person
    • Building rapport with new and existing clients
    • Introducing the company’s services to new and existing clients
    • Providing professional and accurate advice on property investments
    • Educating clients on growth, yields, rental returns and finance options
    • Guiding client sales through to completion

    The successful candidate will

    • Have a proven track record in sales
    • Have excellent sales closure skills
    • Be a strong communicator with articulate verbal and written abilities
    • Have an ethical approach to the investment market
    • Be pro-active and take initiative to anticipate and meet clients’ needs
    • Be receptive to and respectful of the cultural needs of an international client base
    • Develop strong relationships with investors, developers and third party introducer’s
    • Be client focused, with passion for delivering results

    The challenge

    In this position the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing strategies that ensure key product volumes and profit targets are met, whilst building upon the reputation, credibility and customer experience of Fortem Global’s respected international business.

    Based predominantly within our Leeds office, the successful candidate will play a key role in introducing and promoting the company and its investment opportunities to potential clients in a professional manner to obtain agreement and acceptance of products and services for sale.

    As Portfolio Manager you will continually look for the most efficient ways of achieving your goals and the goals of the team. The individual will be flexible and demonstrate their willingness to adapt their style and approach whenever appropriate.

    The candidate

    The successful applicant must have proven sales experience and be able to demonstrate their abilities. A confident, assured and articulate manner is a pre-requisite for this role. Training and support is provided for the right applicant. We are also keen to speak to candidates with experience in recruitment, with direct sales and customer service backgrounds.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum 2 years sales, business development, account management, telesales or in-house sales experience is required
    • Specific experience within investment / property / finance sectors prefered
    • Excellent spoken and written English language skills
    • Multi-lingual a plus
    • Full driving licence beneficial but not required
